Description

There will be five (5) stations. (Medical Assessment, Trauma Assessment, CPR-AED, BVM & Random) The random station may include (1) Joint Immobilization, (2) Long Bone Immobilization or (3) Bleeding Control and Shock.

Registration is on a first come first serve basis.  There is no waiting list.
There are no registration transfers allowed, please choose your testing date carefully.
Payment (by credit card only) is due at time of registration.

Payment is non-refundable. In the event that that an exam is cancelled (inclement weather, catastrophic event, or lack of candidates), your registration will be transferred to the next available testing date.

If an exam is cancelled, you will be notified via email and it will be posted on this site.

If you register for a date, you own it.

No Refunds for whatever reasons.

We cannot replace you with anyone else per OEMS.

You must bring photo ID

Candidates testing in a practical examination must have completed a Connecticut OEMS-approved Emergency Medical Technician or Emergency Medical Responder course within two years of their exam date, have an expired Connecticut or NREMT certification reinstated, or are completing the examination for endorsement as an EMT.

Per CT OEMS testing protocols, you are strongly encouraged to follow CDC Covid-19 guidance, including refraining from attending large group events or other high-risk situations during the 14 days prior to your exam. Screening protocols, including having your temperature taken, will be in place. Please be aware that if you do not pass the Covid-19 screening, you will not be admitted to the exam, and you will be re-scheduled for the next available testing date. This is to maximize safety for all candidates and staff who are on-site that day.  If you are having symptoms in the days leading up to your exam, please contact us and we will reschedule you in advance.  

One week before the test, you will receive additional information, including the address and time you will need to report to the test site.  Each candidate will be scheduled for a specific time according to CT OEMS protocols related to COVID19, and information regarding current protocols will also be included.

 

EXAM DAY CHECK-IN:
